Scope

This policy covers wowforevertalents.org, the WoW Forever Talents reference and calculator. You can browse the public reference without registering or supplying payment information. The descriptions below distinguish the site's built-in behavior from optional integrations.

Requests and technical information

Opening a page or image sends a request to our hosting infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser information and error records to deliver content, investigate faults and prevent abuse. Build information placed in a URL may also be visible to providers handling that request. Avoid putting sensitive information in URLs.

Browser storage and cookies

The site may remember interface preferences, such as your selected appearance, in browser storage. If you arrive with a utm_source URL parameter, the site stores a sanitized referral value in a first-party cookie named utm_source for up to 30 days. It records the referral source rather than your name or email address. You can remove browser storage or block cookies in your browser settings; doing so may reset preferences.

If you share a build URL, anyone who receives it may view or forward the encoded build. A shared URL is not private storage. This policy does not promise server backups or persistence of build selections.

Optional analytics and advertising

The site supports analytics providers that run only when configured: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible, OpenPanel and Vercel Analytics. Enabled services may process page activity, device details, approximate location or identifiers according to their configuration and privacy policies. Some use cookies; session recording tools may capture interactions. Their purposes are usage measurement, troubleshooting and site improvement.

Google AdSense may run when an advertising publisher ID is configured. Google and its partners may use cookies or identifiers for advertising and measurement, including personalization based on previous visits. See Google's partner-site data explanation and Google Ads Settings for information and available controls. The actual providers running on a deployment depend on its settings; this policy does not imply that every supported integration is active.

Where applicable law requires consent for optional tracking or advertising, that processing must depend on valid consent. Browser controls can also restrict cookies and tracking.

Messages you send us

Emailing [email protected] provides your email address, message and any attachments to us and the email providers handling delivery. We use these details to answer the request, investigate reported issues or handle rights concerns. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Disclosure, retention and security

Information may be processed by service providers responsible for hosting, security, email and any enabled integrations, including in countries other than yours. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to investigate abuse. Support correspondence is not offered for sale.

We retain information only for the operational, support or legal purposes for which it is needed. Technical-log retention depends on the hosting provider; optional integrations have their own retention settings. The referral cookie has the 30-day limit described above. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may clear local storage, remove cookies and use provider privacy controls. Contact our support address to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or to ask about an enabled provider. Applicable law may provide additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability or a complaint to your local data protection authority. We may need enough information to verify and locate a request. We cannot directly delete information stored only in your own browser.

The reference is intended for a general audience. Please contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We will revise this page and its update date when these practices change. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. See also our Terms of Use.
